开县敬业中学建校于1983年，是全国*所民办高级高级中学。学校坐落于开县城四号桥旁，学校绿树成荫，鸟语花香，环境优美，是学生学习的理想地方。建校以来，因教学成绩突出，受到各级领导的表彰。1986年，*届毕业生高考升学率接近开县中学，受到四川省人民政府的表彰。2016年高三毕业生高考上线率达99%，其中本科上线率75%，2015年及2016年高三一诊考试及高考中，部分学科名列全县普通高中*名，受到重庆市教委，开县人名政府，开县教委的好评。
