公司成立于2019年2月2日，注册资本2亿元人民币。由国网福建省电力有限公司、厦门海沧发展集团有限公司、福建省闽投配售电有限责任公司、厦门华夏国际电力发展有限公司共同组建。 公司是国家发改委批准的第二批增量配电网改革试点单位，拥有厦门海沧信息产业园3.22平方公里增量配电网30年特许运营权以及福建省售电业务牌照。公司负责园区110kV及以下配电网的投资建设及运营并积极参与福建省内电力市场化售电业务。 同时海华电力致力于以新能源为主体的新型配电网系统的发展与建设，业务涵盖源、网、荷、储各产业链上下游产业的投资、工程、贸易等各项业务，是“双碳”目标下适应能源转型的新能源全产业链平台型公司。
