MCC (Shanghai) Steel Structure Technology Co., Ltd. is a key subsidiary of China Minmetals and MCC, both Fortune Global 500 listed companies. Established in September 2018, the company was formed through the merger of the steel structure businesses of Shanghai Baoye Steel Structure, China MCC20, and Shanghai MCC5. The company has a registered capital of 1 billion yuan. Starting honorably in the metallurgical field, the company participated in the construction of Wuhan Steel in 1954, Panzhihua Steel in 1966, and Baosteel in 1978. Over more than 60 years, it has operated across most of China, undertaking almost all metallurgical steel structure engineering projects in the country, making it one of the earliest construction enterprises in the steel structure industry.
