I. General Information of Xiamen Bank
Xiamen Bank, formerly known as Xiamen City Cooperative Bank, was established in 1996. It is a joint-stock commercial bank with independent legal personality approved by the People's Bank of China.
In 2008, Xiamen Bank successfully introduced Fubon Bank (Hong Kong), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taiwan Fubon Financial Holding, as a strategic shareholder, becoming the first and currently the only city commercial bank in mainland China with a Taiwan-funded background. Currently, the largest shareholder of Xiamen Bank is the Xiamen Municipal Finance Bureau; the second largest shareholder is Fubon Bank (Hong Kong).
With the strong support of government authorities at all levels and all sectors of society, Xiamen Bank's various businesses have developed steadily, and its market position and brand image have continued to improve. Xiamen Bank has established branches in Chongqing and all nine districts and cities of Fujian Province (among which Xiamen serves as the branch-level business management headquarters). The bank currently has 57 modern operating outlets and approximately 2,300 employees. In recent years, Xiamen Bank has steadily advanced toward building a diversified and multi-tiered financial service system, establishing a controlled subsidiary in Quanzhou—Fujian Haixi Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.; setting up a specialized capital operation center in the Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone; and creating the first wealth management specialized institution in the Fuzhou area of the Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone—Xiamen Bank Wealth Management Center.
In recent years, Xiamen Bank has fully drawn on the advanced financial service and management concepts of its strategic shareholders, continuously strengthened its distinctive and differentiated operations, and committed itself to building a "model bank for cross-strait financial cooperation." II. Basic Information of Chongqing Branch
In May 2011, Xiamen Bank Chongqing Branch was officially established, becoming Xiamen Bank's first cross-provincial branch. Since its establishment, Chongqing Branch has consistently adhered to the market positioning of "rooted in the local economy, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, serving cross-strait Taiwanese businessmen, and facing urban residents," insisting on placing equal emphasis on business development and risk management, and serving Chongqing citizens and enterprises with distinctive and differentiated innovative financial products, contributing to local economic development.
Chongqing Branch currently has internal departments including the Comprehensive Management Department, Planning and Finance Department, Risk Control Department, Operations Management Department, Corporate Business Department, and Retail Business Department, as well as seven sub-branches: the Branch Business Department, Liangjiang Sub-branch, Shapingba Sub-branch, Jiulongpo Sub-branch, Nan'an Sub-branch, Dazu Sub-branch, and Yubei Sub-branch, and has established multiple marketing teams for corporate, small enterprise, and retail businesses.
In the nearly seven years since Xiamen Bank Chongqing Branch entered Chongqing, its asset scale has continued to expand, its customer base has been continuously consolidated, its internal management has been increasingly improved, and its regulatory evaluation has gradually increased. It has been awarded the Chongqing Banking Industry "Annual Social Responsibility Service Model Award" for two consecutive years, and has also received the Municipal Banking Industry "Best Organization Award in the Financial Planner Competition," the Financial Oscar "Annual Inclusive Finance Special Contribution Enterprise," the Golden Seal Award "Annual Most Trusted Bank by Citizens" and "Annual Best Small and Micro Service Bank," and the Golden Tripod Award "Annual Most Trusted Commercial Bank by Enterprises" and "Annual Best Small and Micro Service Bank."
