东方市生活垃圾焚烧发电项目位于东方市生活垃圾卫生填埋场东侧地块，项目占地面积约120亩，设计总规模为日处理生活垃圾1200吨，分两期建设。其中项目一期处理规模为800／，投资额为5.18亿元人民币，配置两台处理规模为400／的机械炉排焚烧炉，一台18的凝汽式汽轮机发电机组，配套建设300吨天处理能力的渗滤液处理站。项目采用高参数工艺（450 °、6.4），烟气处理采用国际先进的“低氮燃烧 炉内脱硝（预留）＋半干法（()2）＋干法喷射（()2） 活性炭吸附＋布袋除尘”烟气净化工艺，二噁英近零排放，烟气排放指标优于欧盟2010标准。飞灰处理采用螯合剂稳定固化的处理工艺。垃圾渗滤液采用“预处理 调节 厌氧 超滤 化学软化系统 系统 系统”的工艺方案处理达标后回用。
