康铂品牌创立于1976年，由泰廷爵家族（Taittinger Family）开创，其品牌名“Campa-nile”在法语中是钟楼的意思，指的是用钟声 呼唤信徒祈祷的塔楼。这个词源于意大利语“campanile”，意思是高塔，而这个意大利词又来源于“campana”一词，意思是“钟”。钟楼 是一座挂着大钟的高楼，用钟声召唤大家汇聚。Campanile品牌进入中国后，进行了本土化的设计，并正式命名为“康铂”，“康”寓意“健康”， 铂来源于金属元素“铂金”，寓意“高品质和不断的成功”。2015年，中国锦江集团全资收购Campanile品牌所属的卢浮酒店集团，并于2016年向中国市场正式引入Campanile品牌，翻开锦江全面进入中档 酒店市场的又一篇章。Campanile品牌进入中国后，进行了本土化的设计，并正式命名为“康铂”。康铂品牌传承了Campanile探索人心的品牌追求。 2016年10月，来自法国的康铂品牌正式落户中国，首家酒店——康铂上海外滩酒店（酒店地址：福建南路33号）正式对外营业。
