Nidec Intelligent Motion (Guangzhou) Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. was established in May 2005, formerly known as Omron (Guangzhou) Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan's Omron Group. On November 1, 2019, following the transfer of shares from its Japanese parent company Nidec Intelligent Motion Corporation (formerly Omron Automotive Electronics Corporation) to the Nidec Group, it joined the Nidec Group and was officially renamed.

Currently, the company mainly produces automotive electronic components including electric window switches, DC/AC converters, remote keys, intelligent anti-theft keys, seat memory switches, electronic parking switches, one-button start switches, and electric power steering systems.
