此名出自苏东坡的“桑畴雨过罗纨腻，麦陇风来饼饵香”，曾多次在“招商引资”等外事活动中，作为精选礼品馈赠国际友人。“麦陇香”百年来一直是皖西南糕点行业的翘楚。
在2018年8月麦陇香重组改革至今，麦陇香发展至连锁门店近40家，年产量超万吨，生产经营面积30000多平方米，各类专业人才200多人，产品分“中式糕点”、“西点蛋糕”、“休闲零食”、“民生产品”四大类，集原料种植、产品研发、生产制造、仓储配送、连锁专卖为一体的现代化食品生产销售供应链，市场已基本覆盖华东地区。
