Chongqing Pingchuang Semiconductor Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pingchuang") was established on November 13, 2019. Located at No. 1 Hongyu Avenue, Bishan District, it covers an area of 9,395 square meters with a factory building area of 25,452 square meters. It is a technology-based enterprise with integrated innovation capabilities across the entire chain of chip design, semiconductor materials, customized packaging and testing, application solutions, and digital energy.
As a high-tech enterprise in the semiconductor field, Pingchuang has always adhered to a dual-driven innovative R&D mechanism of "empowering customers" and "technology innovation leadership." R&D personnel account for 56% of the workforce, and R&D investment intensity has exceeded 20% over the past three years. It possesses a world-class chip design and R&D platform, has built a complete automotive-grade reliability testing center and a digital semiconductor chip packaging and testing workshop, and has successfully constructed and put into operation the first automotive-grade power module production line in western China that is simultaneously compatible with nano-silver/nano-copper sintering processes. It has established a relatively complete power semiconductor chip/device/module R&D and production chain spanning from market, design, and testing to application, batch screening, and quality control. Pingchuang owns two major brands, PCsemic and PINGALAX. Its main products include: power chips/devices, charging piles, charging modules, commercial and industrial photovoltaic inverters, energy storage, portable power supplies, digital energy management platforms, etc. The products have been widely used in new energy vehicles, special vehicles, high-end white goods, charging piles, photovoltaics, energy storage, energy management, and other fields. It provides customized design and development, packaging and testing, and system application solutions for many well-known enterprises, helping multiple key enterprises achieve domestic substitution of key components, and has quality customers and partners from more than 30 countries and regions.
In the past three years, it has successively obtained a series of important honors and qualifications, including the national-level specialized and sophisticated key "Little Giant" enterprise, National High-tech Enterprise, national-level postdoctoral workstation, Chongqing New R&D Institution, Chongqing Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, Chongqing Industrial Design Center, and Chongqing Enterprise Technology Center.
