Chongqing Qing Shan Industrial Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: Qingshan Industry) was established in January 1965 and is a large state-owned industrial enterprise affiliated with China Equipment Group Co., Ltd. It specializes in the research and development, production, and sales of a full range of automotive products including MT manual, DCT automatic, DHT hybrid, and EDS electric drive systems. In 2024, sales revenue exceeded 9.8 billion yuan, with a brand value of 10.618 billion yuan. It provides multiple high-quality products for passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles of more than a dozen customers including Changan, FAW, Dongfeng, Chery, Great Wall, Huawei, JAC, and Honda. After 60 years of development, the company has formed three production bases in Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Henan, and Chengdu, Sichuan, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 2.6 million units of automotive transmissions and new energy electric drive systems, and cumulative production and sales of over 30 million units. The company currently has more than 900 scientific and technological R&D personnel, with an annual R&D investment intensity of over 5%, and plans to invest over 2.7 billion yuan in science and technology during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. It possesses 135 core technologies, has successfully broken through 4 bottleneck technologies monopolized by foreign countries, and holds 443 valid patents, including 196 invention patents.
