中国航发贵阳发动机设计研究所成立于1968年5月，隶属于中国航空发动机集团，是我国航空发动机行业的主机设计单位之一，主要从事中、小推力涡喷、涡扇发动机产品研发工作。
中国航发贵阳所始终艰苦奋斗为中国战鹰提供*坚强的“中国心”，开拓创新为实现我国航空发动机自主研制而奋发图强。面对航空动力振兴的光荣使命和挑战，中国航发贵阳所将持续以飞机用户需求和飞机平台发展为牵引，承担战斗机动力、机动力、无人机动力、动力以及系列化发展关键技术研究；在现有平台基础上开展第四代航空发动机关键技术研究。
