The Smart Research Institute of China Communications Construction Group (hereinafter referred to as the Smart Research Institute) is a platform research and development institution that provides specialized research, intellectual support, information platforms, and data development and application for China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. to comprehensively promote deep digital transformation. With the overall goal of accelerating the comprehensive and deep digital transformation of CCCC Group, it serves as the CCCC Group's R&D center for promoting comprehensive and deep digital transformation, the CCCC BIM Center, and the Smart Technology Incubation Center. As the core force of CCCC Group in promoting BIM work, the CCCC BIM Center, under the leadership of CCCC Group, is mainly responsible for the compilation of CCCC BIM overall planning, formulation of standards and specifications, R&D of BIM platforms and tools, and comprehensively and deeply promoting applications, exploring and forming a new model of project full life cycle management based on BIM for CCCC Group. The Wuhan Branch of China Communications Information Technology Group Co., Ltd. operates and manages daily as the entity operating company of the BIM Center of the Smart Research Institute.
