CDF Investment Development Co., Ltd. was established in May 2010. It is a third-tier subsidiary of China Tourism Group and a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Tourism Group CDF Co., Ltd. Serving as CDF's external investment and operational management platform, the company has over 400 employees. Leveraging the strengths of China Tourism Group and CDF, CDF Investment focuses on duty-free retail as its core competitiveness, supported by a blend of duty-paid retail, hotels, office buildings, ancillary facilities, and other property types. It develops three core products: outlying-island tourism retail complexes, urban tourism retail complexes, and airport-adjacent tourism retail complexes. The company has three wholly-owned subsidiaries: CDF (Hainan) Investment Development Co., Ltd., CDF (Sanya) Haitang Bay Investment Development Co., Ltd., and CDF (Haikou) Investment Development Co., Ltd. The Hainan company primarily undertakes the construction of Phase 1 Plot 2, Haitang Bay company is responsible for the operation of Sanya International Duty-Free City Phase 2, and Haikou company currently undertakes the construction of Xinhai Port International Duty-Free City project. Additionally, there is an invested subsidiary, CDF (Sanya) Investment Development Co., Ltd. Project Introduction: 1. Sanya International Duty-Free City Phase 1 Project: Covering an area of 126 mu, with a total construction area of approximately 125,000 square meters and commercial space of 70,000 square meters, with an investment of about 2.8 billion yuan. The project is positioned as a new landmark in Sanya, Hainan, and a milestone in Chinese commercial architecture. It opened on September 1, 2014, and is currently in continuous operation. 2. Sanya International Duty-Free City Phase 2 Project: As an open, low-density commercial district, the project has a total construction area of approximately 64,000 square meters, including about 34,000 square meters of commercial space. It is directly connected to Sanya International Duty-Free City, a must-visit shopping destination in Haitang Bay, via the Yunjie Bridge. Phase 2 focuses on luxury experiential commerce and entertainment-leisure vacations, with four themed functional areas: Curious Living Pavilion, International Creative Hub, International Colorful Carnival, and International Gourmet Market. It aims to create a leisure and vacation commercial complex integrating dining, shopping, leisure, and entertainment, meeting the premium lifestyle needs of vacationing families and business travelers. 3. Sanya Phase 1 Plot 2 Project: Located south of the Haitang Bay Duty-Free Shopping Center, covering an area of 163 mu, with a planned construction area of 92,000 square meters, positioned as a luxury hotel and high-end commercial space. 4. Haikou International Duty-Free City Project: Located east of Xinhai Port on the western coast of Haikou, with a total land area of approximately 485 mu and a planned construction scale of about 800,000 square meters. The complex includes duty-free retail, duty-paid retail, office buildings, hotels, and apartments. On December 17 and 27, 2018, the company completed the land acquisition for six plots and obtained transaction confirmation letters. As a key construction project of Hainan Province, the company adheres to high standards and quality, emphasizes excellent design, and has invited world-renowned design firms for overall design, aiming to build an internationally first-class duty-free complex, a new business card of Hainan Free Trade Zone, and a new landmark in Haikou. Currently, the company is planning to expand to cities such as Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, and Xi'an.
