南方医科大学第七附属医院（南海区中心医院）是南方医科大学直属附属医院，创建于1958年，2016年交由南方医科大学与南海区、里水镇两级政府合作共建，2020年医院更名为“南方医科大学第七附属医院”。2024年，医院增挂“南海区中心医院”名称，进一步明确了其区域核心地位。医院现有两个院区（主院区、和顺院区），主院区占地面积9.3万平方米，建筑面积达到18.5万平方米，核定床位1100张。现有员工约1100人，其中高级职称专家194人，硕士及以上学历/学位221人，博士19人，博士后16人。师资力量丰厚，包括16位硕士生导师和3位博士生导师。另有*学会副主任委员及以上3人、省级学会副主委及主委20人。33人获评“岭南名医”，15人获评“南海名医”。
