Dalian Taixing Energy Co., Ltd., abbreviated as PPEDL (formerly Dalian Panasonic Automotive Energy Co., Ltd.), was established in December 2014. It is a Sino-Japanese joint venture co-founded by Japan's 'Taixing Energy & Solutions Co., Ltd. (a joint venture between Toyota Group and Panasonic Group)' and 'Dalian Liaowu No.2 Electric Appliance Co., Ltd.' It is located in Dalian Jinpu New Area, the tenth national new area. The land area for the first, second, and third phases of the plant is approximately 300,000 square meters, and after the completion of the fourth and fifth phases, it will reach 500,000 square meters. The registered capital is 2.25 billion yuan, with a cumulative investment of nearly 7.3 billion yuan. The company is dedicated to the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of lithium-ion power batteries for electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. Mass production began at the end of 2017. Guided by the corporate principle of 'producing safe, high-quality batteries at low cost,' the company strives to improve and enhance social life and promote the development of world culture through the efforts of all employees.
