Shenzhen Aerospace Dongfanghong Hite Satellite Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Dongfanghong) is the overall unit for microsatellite development under the China Academy of Space Technology, and is also a high-tech enterprise controlled by China Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd., specializing in microsatellite development and operations and aerospace technology application businesses. Founded in October 2008, Shenzhen Dongfanghong has successfully developed and launched four types and five microsatellites, including Kaituo-1 (A/B) and Pulsar Test Satellite 01, among which Kaituo-1B is China's first standard CubeSat developed and launched; its models under development cover multiple fields such as atmospheric detection, satellite navigation, technology experiments, commercial communications, and commercial remote sensing. It has successfully developed a series of microwave ranging products, a high-altitude meteorological detection system based on the BeiDou system, and an ocean buoy monitoring system, providing users with professional products and industry solutions. The company has a microsatellite development center (Shenzhen Satellite Building) integrating system research and development, overall design, assembly, testing, and experimentation, with an annual production capacity of 8-10 satellites; after 9 years of development, it has built a full industrial chain of microsatellite research and development, manufacturing, application, and services, becoming an important force in accelerating the industrialization of China's microsatellites and their applications. The company has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a strategic emerging industry cultivation enterprise of Guangdong Province, and a Shenzhen direct-channel enterprise, and has won national and provincial/ministerial science and technology progress awards multiple times.
