南方医科大学坪山总医院（深圳市坪山区医疗健康集团）由深圳市坪山区政府与南方医科大学共同举办、合作共建，2019年9月成立，为南方医科大学直属附属医院。总院统筹管理坪山区人民医院和区域内28家公办社康中心。
总院以建设深圳东部区域医疗高地为目标，依托南方医科大学雄厚的学科人才实力，大力提升人才队伍层次和水平，加快基础设施建设，强力推动所属医院从区属二甲医院向高等院校附属三甲医院转变。
南方医科大学坪山医院（深圳市坪山区人民医院）迁址重建项目已开工建设，2024年底交付投入使用，规划床位2000张，拟在5年内建成三级甲等大型综合医院。
现为加强学科人才建设，面向社会和重点高等医科院校招聘各学科带头人及博士、“四证合一”硕士研究生等骨干人才。
