Sinopharm Group Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai in January 2003 and listed in Hong Kong in September 2009 (01099.HK), with more than 1,100 subsidiaries under its umbrella (including two A-share listed companies, Sinopharm Group Co., Ltd. (Sinopharm Shares) and Sinopharm Group A-Share Co., Ltd. (Sinopharm A-Share)).

Since its establishment, under the correct leadership of Sinopharm Group, Sinopharm Group has followed national policies, kept pace with the times, actively promoted the transformation and integration of China's pharmaceutical distribution industry, and gradually developed into an industry leader. In 2024, Sinopharm Group achieved operating revenue of 584.5 billion yuan. The pharmaceutical distribution business continued to consolidate its leading edge, with terminal networks covering more than 700,000 outlets across provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and market share steadily increasing; the medical device business maintained its solid network coverage advantages, with continuously improved comprehensive service capabilities and steady progress in industrial manufacturing; the pharmaceutical retail network was continuously optimized, with the total number of stores exceeding 10,000, and both social pharmacies and specialty pharmacies maintained stable development.
