Gemdale Tennis Club was founded in 2003 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company Gemdale Corporation. Its headquarters is located at Gemdale Xiangmishan Tennis Center in Shenzhen. It currently has more than 10 professional coaches certified by PTR and ITF, and thousands of members. Gemdale's four branches in Shenzhen, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Beijing have already been put into operation. In the future, it will also set up club venues in 7 cities including Dalian, Tianjin, Hangzhou, and Wuhan, becoming a tennis club chain entity with the *most venues in China. Since its establishment, Gemdale has successfully operated dozens of branded tennis events such as the "Gemdale Masters", "Gemdale Junior Tournament", and "Shenzhen Tennis Team Competition".

In 2013, Gemdale successfully assisted the Shenzhen municipal government in hosting the first WTA Shenzhen Gemdale Open and is in discussions to introduce ATP250-level professional events, committed to making these two international professional tennis events a signature sports event card for Shenzhen. At the same time, Gemdale began exclusively operating the Shenzhen Pingshan International Tennis Center and launched the Pingshan International Tennis Academy to comprehensively cultivate Chinese professional tennis talent at the professional, amateur, and educational levels. Gemdale has always been enthusiastic about public welfare and charity. In 2011, it launched the "Gemdale Caring Fund" and has already formed a complete training and coaching team for 8 young tennis talents from Gansu. It plans to form more than 3 echelons in the coming years and establish a complete professional tennis training system.
