Chongqing Dance School

Chongqing Dance School was founded in 1998. It is a private school directly under the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, one of the six professional dance schools in China, and a member school of the National Art Secondary Specialized School Society of the Ministry of Education.
Chongqing Dance School governs the school by virtue, adheres to the educational philosophy of placing equal emphasis on professional and cultural education, strictly manages the teaching process, focuses on standardization in professional teaching, aims at the college entrance examination in cultural teaching, and is committed to cultivating knowledgeable dance talents with both virtue and artistry. Since its establishment, our school has continuously sent nearly a thousand graduates to various higher art institutions across the country.
Our school has achieved a college entrance examination pass rate of 100% for many years. Graduates from several cohorts have mainly entered the following universities: Beijing Dance Academy, Beijing Film Academy, Central Academy of Drama, National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, Capital Normal University, Beijing Normal University, Minzu University of China, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Hangzhou Normal University, Nanjing University of the Arts, Jiangnan University, Shenzhen University, Sichuan University, Xi'an Conservatory of Music, Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Sichuan Normal University, Chongqing University, Yunnan Arts University, Guizhou University, etc.
Chongqing Dance School is located at No. 3 Hongshi Avenue, Jiulong Park, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. It covers an area of more than 50 mu, with a building area of 30,000 square meters, and can accommodate 1,200 students. Currently, there are more than 500 students from Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei, Xinjiang, and other places.
