Established in 1953, following the footsteps of the new China, Tangshan Planning and Architectural Design Research Institute was founded in Tangshan, shouldering the important task of designing the blueprint for Tangshan's urban development. Over the past 58 years, generations of institute members have written historical chapters of continuous growth and development with loyalty and wisdom, diligence and sweat.
Currently, there are 400 employees. The institute holds multiple qualifications, including Grade A for urban and rural planning, Grade A for architectural engineering design, Grade A for design of all municipal public industries (excluding subways and light rail), Grade A for engineering survey, Grade A for engineering consulting, Class I for construction drawing review, Grade B for civil air defense engineering design in the construction industry, and Grade B for landscape architecture. It can independently undertake various businesses such as urban planning, engineering consulting, industrial and civil architectural design, municipal water supply and drainage design, road and bridge/tunnel design, heating design, gas design, intelligent building system design, geotechnical engineering design, engineering geological survey, and urban surveying and mapping.
