Ping An Annuity Insurance Company of China, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ping An Annuity Insurance") is a subsidiary of Ping An Group. It was established in Shanghai in December 2004 and is the first professional pension insurance company in China. In 2006, it was reorganized with Ping An Life's group insurance business. It mainly operates pension asset management focusing on annuities, and insurance business focusing on employee welfare protection and critical illness protection for urban and rural residents. It possesses qualifications for enterprise annuities, occupational annuities, basic pensions, third-party asset management, infrastructure and real estate investment, etc. The company independently developed a one-stop comprehensive financial service platform for all employee benefits—"Haofuli", providing enterprise employees with a one-stop service system integrating insurance, annuity and health value-added services. The company has a nationwide service network and an excellent professional team, with 35 branches and over 100 central sub-branches. As of the end of 2017, the company's registered capital was 4.86 billion yuan, and it had a total of more than 10,100 employees, including more than 230 investment personnel and annuity product managers, more than 350 actuarial and insurance underwriting/claims personnel, more than 650 operations and customer service personnel, and more than 210 IT developers.
