天府锦城实验室（未来医学城）是四川省人民政府统筹规划，依托四川大学等单位，以成都东部新区为核心打造的生命健康领域实验室。围绕先进医疗技术、创新医疗器械、前沿生物技术、现代中医健康医学四大主要研究方向，打造*新型生命健康科创设施等平台，突破“卡脖子”关键技术，产出重大原创成果。实验室由中国工程院院士张兴栋教授担任首届名誉主任，成为我国生命健康领域高层次、复合型人才培养的重要基地。天府锦城实验室（未来医学城）研究院工作人员目前由未来医学城管理局代为招聘及管理。
