Kelun was founded in 1996 and has now formed a "pin"-shaped operating platform consisting of Kelun Pharmaceutical (002422.SZ), Chuanyang Bio (301301.SZ), and Kelun-Biotech (06990.HK), with a total market value exceeding RMB 150 billion. In 2017, Kelun ranked 155th among China's top 500 manufacturing enterprises. In 2018, Kelun was awarded the "Manufacturing Industry Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise" title for its global advantage in large-volume injections. In 2023, Kelun ranked among the top three in China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in June 2010, and immediately launched a ten-billion-yuan industrial investment plan, initiating the development strategy of "three engines driving innovation and growth." The first engine is to maintain Kelun's leading position in the infusion field through continuous industrial upgrading and product structure adjustment; the second engine is to build a competitive advantage in antibiotics from intermediates, APIs to formulations through the innovative development and utilization of high-quality natural resources; the third engine is to accumulate the ultimate driving force for sustainable enterprise development through the establishment of a research and development system and diversified technological innovation.

In the infusion field, Kelun has achieved comprehensive industrial upgrading, possessing profitability characterized by both high-end manufacturing and new materials, and has secured a strategic high ground in technological innovation and quality benchmarking. Kelun has established a closed-loop responsibility system from drug research and development, manufacturing, logistics and transportation to terminal use, ensuring product quality and safety. Its leading products have achieved batch exports and enjoy a high reputation in more than 50 countries and regions. The self-developed Kelida® is an original creation both domestically and internationally, won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and has led the development direction of safe infusion; its iterative products with unique integrated technology advantages - ready-to-use high-end infusions (parenteral nutrition multi-chamber bags and antibiotic solid-liquid dual-chamber bags) have taken the lead in breaking the foreign monopoly and become the only medical drugs under epidemic, war, and natural disaster conditions, establishing the brand image of a national enterprise in China's high-end infusion market.

In the antibiotic field, the company has advanced westward and established Yili Chuanyang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Through innovative development and utilization of high-quality natural resources in Xinjiang, it has cross-combined modern manufacturing and modern agriculture, achieving key breakthroughs in key technologies and core links of biological fermentation, and thoroughly overcoming the "three waste treatment" problem. It has grown into a benchmark for green environmental protection in China and a leading enterprise with global discourse power in the antibiotic field. In December 2022, Chuanyang Bio was successfully listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Leveraging its industrial advantages, it is fully implementing the dual-wheel drive development strategy of "biological fermentation and synthetic biology," aiming to become a professional manufacturer of biological products with global competitiveness and influence.

As of now, Kelun has applied for more than 1,500 invention patents and obtained more than 700 invention patent authorizations. It has successively initiated the development of more than 500 major drugs in multiple disease areas such as oncology, bacterial infections, and parenteral nutrition. Since 2017, more than 20 drugs have been approved for marketing each year, making Kelun a leading enterprise in generic drugs in China, and with a nearly 90% bid-winning rate, it has become a leading supplier in the national centralized drug procurement. At the same time, more than ten innovative drug projects for the treatment of major diseases such as tumors, autoimmune diseases, inflammation, and metabolism are in clinical stages, with multiple clinical trials being global multicenter studies, and multiple projects are collaborating with European and American partners to lay out global clinical research, carried out simultaneously in multiple countries including China, Europe, and the United States, to achieve synergies between the pipeline and technology platforms and maximize the global value of the pipeline.

Kelun-Biotech has successfully built an internationally renowned ADC research and development platform. In 2022, it reached a licensing agreement with Merck & Co. exceeding US$10 billion, ranking first in the global pharmaceutical industry licensing transactions in 2022, firmly establishing Kelun's position in the top tier of domestic innovative drug research and development. In July 2023, Kelun-Biotech was successfully listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, marking a new journey for Kelun's innovative research and global layout. With the successive approvals and marketing of Jijatai® (a TROP2 ADC of Chinese originality and international quality) and Ketai® (the world's first PD-L1 monoclonal antibody for nasopharyngeal carcinoma), Kelun has opened up new treatment pathways and brought new hope to tumor patients.

At the same time, Kelun is entering the anti-aging track with its full industry chain advantage. It has already produced, is preparing to put into production, and is researching more than 10 health product raw materials. In the future, it will form a full industry chain product matrix from raw materials to terminals.
