Hubei Dayu Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Co., Ltd., founded in 1955, was originally the Second Engineering Regiment of the Hubei Provincial Department of Water Resources and the Second Division of Hubei Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering. In 2000, it was restructured into Hubei Dayu Company. In 2003, it merged and reorganized with the First Division of Hubei Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering to form the new Hubei Dayu Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Co., Ltd. It has always been a key water conservancy construction unit and a leading enterprise in water conservancy construction in Hubei Province.
The company holds qualifications including Grade I General Contracting for Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction, Grade II General Contracting for Municipal Public Works Construction, Grade II General Contracting for Building Construction, and Grade B for Geological Disaster Control, and possesses qualifications for overseas project construction. The company has successively passed the ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System, OHSAS18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System certifications.
