Beijing Runier Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Runier") was established in December 2007 with a registered capital of 22.06 million yuan. It is a national high-tech enterprise registered in the Haidian Cultural and Educational Industrial Park in Beijing, with its headquarters in Beijing. Currently, it has set up branches in Wuhan, Xi'an, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Hohhot, Harbin, and other places. Relying on virtual simulation technology and network technology, Runier is mainly engaged in the research, development, sales, integration, and service of educational and teaching systems. It can provide integrated construction solutions for schools' virtual simulation experimental teaching, informatization of experimental centers, online and offline blended courses, as well as talent training for VR-related majors and VR educational application hardware. The company currently has over 300 full-time employees, with R&D staff accounting for more than 60%, and has obtained more than 300 software copyrights. Runier adheres to the mission of "Making education more vivid and reality more exciting". Its team is an expert team that is both familiar with information network technology and has rich practical teaching experience. In 2010, Runier, together with more than 10 well-known domestic universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beihang University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Jilin University, participated in the collaborative research of the key project "Research on Key Technologies and Application Demonstration of Virtual Experimental Teaching Environment" under the National Science and Technology Support Program during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, achieving a series of research results such as the intelligent guidance and management system for virtual experiments. From 2013 to 2015, among the 300 virtual simulation experimental teaching centers recognized by the Ministry of Education, 36 were co-built with Runier, involving disciplines such as electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, communications, machinery, mechanics, materials, petroleum, mining, psychology, public security, art, media, sports, transportation, aviation, energy, biology, environment, tourism, history, archaeology, and languages. In December 2017, the company jointly established the "Virtual Reality Education Application Research Institute" with the Educational Equipment Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Education to jointly develop standards for the development, production, application, and evaluation of virtual simulation experimental resources, promote open sharing of resources, and jointly promote reform and innovation in experimental teaching. From 2017 to 2019, Runier provided technical services for 187 of the 728 national first-class virtual simulation experimental teaching courses (national virtual simulation experimental teaching projects) recognized by the Ministry of Education, accounting for about 26%, ranking first among industry enterprises, providing important technical support for the reform and innovation of experimental teaching in Chinese universities. As a leading domestic professional provider of virtual simulation experimental teaching solutions in terms of technology, Beijing Runier's solutions and products have been sold and applied to more than 700 schools, among which all 39 Project 985 universities have established cooperative relationships with Runier, and 112 out of 116 Project 211 universities have cooperated with Runier. Cases include Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Lanzhou University, Central South University, Shandong University, Dalian University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tianjin University, Nankai University, University of Science and Technology, Fujian University of Technology, Shandong Yingcai University, Information College of Shanxi Agricultural University, Guizhou Communications Polytechnic, Guangdong AIB Polytechnic, Guizhou Provincial Finance School, Dalian University of Technology's School of Distance and Continuing Education, Zhejiang Open University, and other vocational and technical colleges and universities in China.
