KUKA Robotics

KUKA China is a subsidiary established in China by KUKA Aktiengesellschaft of Germany. Since 1987, when the KUKA Group gifted a robot to FAW Truck, KUKA has been rooted in China and serving Chinese customers. Currently, KUKA China has nearly 3,600 employees.

KUKA China mainly operates six business segments: KUKA Robotics, KUKA Mobile Robotics, KUKA Systems, KUKA Industrial Automation, Swisslog Logistics Automation, and Swisslog Healthcare. It is committed to providing comprehensive products, system integration, and complete services for a wide range of industrial fields.

To better serve the local market, KUKA China has established two R&D centers in Shunde and Shanghai, and has deployed production bases in Shunde, Kunshan, Shanghai, and other locations.

The Midea KUKA Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Park is located in Shunde, Guangdong, covering an area of 288,600 square meters with a total investment exceeding 2.7 billion RMB. It is currently the largest robot body production base in South China, covering the entire robot value chain, Swisslog Healthcare, and industrial automation business segments.

KUKA China's East China Manufacturing Base is located in Kunshan, Jiangsu. It underwent capacity upgrade and was put into use in April 2023. The park covers a total area of over 43,000 square meters, with a building area of over 28,000 square meters, including office buildings, machining workshops, digital display areas, assembly and testing workshops, warehouses, receiving and shipping areas, and other core functional areas. It includes two business segments: KUKA Industrial Automation and Swisslog Logistics Automation.
