Midea Group (SZ.000333) is a large comprehensive enterprise group mainly engaged in home appliance manufacturing. It was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on September 18, 2013, and owns two listed subsidiaries: Little Swan (SZ000418) and Welling Holding (HK00382).

Midea Group is a technology group covering consumer appliances, HVAC, robotics and automation systems, and smart supply chain (logistics).

Midea Group offers diversified products and services, including consumer appliances business covering kitchen appliances, refrigerators, washing machines, and various small appliances; HVAC business covering household air conditioners, central air conditioners, heating and ventilation systems; robotics and industrial automation systems business with German KUKA Group and Midea Robotics Company as the core; and smart supply chain business with Andrew Smart as the integrated solution service platform.

Midea was founded in 1968 in Shunde, China, and its headquarters is now located in Beijiao New Town, Shunde, Guangdong. Up to now, it has established business platforms around the world. Midea has about 200 subsidiaries, over 60 overseas branches, and 10 strategic business units worldwide, and it is also the principal shareholder (about 95%) of German KUKA Group.

On January 8, 2015, "Key Technology Research and Industrialization of Energy Saving for Room Air Conditioners" won the second prize of the "National Science and Technology Progress Award."
On July 20, 2016, Midea Group entered the Fortune Global 500 list for the first time with a revenue of US$22.173 billion, ranking 481st.
On May 25, 2017, Forbes released its 2017 Global 2000 list, and Midea ranked 335th.
On January 5, 2017, Tencent QQ:**********:********** and Midea Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen, jointly building in-depth cooperation based on IP authorization and IoT cloud technology to achieve connection, dialogue, and remote control of home appliances.
On July 19, 2018, Fortune published the Global 500 enterprise ranking, with Midea ranking 323rd.
On July 22, 2019, Fortune magazine published the Global 500 enterprise ranking, with Midea ranking 312th.

The Midea Small Kitchen Appliances Division was established in 2002, as a member of Midea Daily Appliances Group. Its predecessor was Midea Rice Cooker Company, established in 1994, and it is a professional manufacturer of kitchen electric heating products with an annual sales scale of RMB 3 billion. Main products include rice cookers, induction cookers, water dispensers, electric kettles, electric hot pots, slow cookers, deep fryers, etc., with an annual output of 40 million units of various appliances. The division has China's most advanced R&D center and R&D means, with a team of over 300 outstanding R&D experts including Japanese and Korean experts. All products have obtained domestic and international safety certifications such as CCC, ETL, GS, UL, and have obtained national inspection-free product qualification in 2002. In September 2004, Midea rice cookers won the title of China Famous Brand Product; in March 2005, the China Industry Information Release Center of the National Bureau of Statistics released that Midea rice cookers, induction cookers, electric kettles, and electric hot pots won twelve championships in the three items of sales volume, sales value, and market share among similar products nationwide in 2004.
