Guangdong Province E-commerce Technician College is a public full-time key technical college named after "e-commerce", and is a national demonstration base for high-skilled talent cultivation, a national training base for high-skilled talents, one of the first batch of "work-study integrated teaching pilot units" of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, a "national model unit for employee education and training" of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, an industrial employment training base of Guangdong Province, a council member unit of the Guangdong E-commerce Association, a vice president unit of the Guangdong Rural E-commerce Association, and a member unit of the Guangdong Rural Revitalization Promotion Association.
The college covers an area of more than 150 mu, with about 7,500 full-time students and 347 faculty and staff members. It boasts a group of renowned teaching masters with both virtue and skill, including national youth post experts, national technical experts, Guangdong Province technical experts, champions of national e-commerce competitions, gold medal Cantonese cuisine chefs, Southern Guangdong technical experts, leaders of the Guangzhou Huangpu District E-commerce Master Studio, provincial supervisors, senior career counselors, and provincial model class teachers. Among them, 73.2% hold intermediate or senior professional titles, and 61.4% are integrated teachers. The college has 117 training rooms with first-class facilities, advanced equipment, and complete functions, with a total value of teaching equipment of 147 million yuan. It has four departments: the E-commerce Department, the Economic Management Department, the Computer Department, and the Mechanical and Electronic Department. Closely following the strategic development of "Made in China 2025", the "Belt and Road" initiative, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area city cluster, it offers 17 popular majors closely matching the market demand for talents.
