Beijing Fuping Domestic Service was established in March 2002 (formerly Beijing Fuping Domestic Service, founded by Professor Mao Yushi and Dr. Tang Min), aiming to provide decent employment opportunities for impoverished women in central and western regions, help disadvantaged women in urban and rural areas embark on the path of employment and self-development, and deliver safe, professional, and reliable domestic services to urban families. The direct-operated stores of Beijing Fuping Domestic Service Center are located in Haidian, Dongcheng, and Chaoyang districts, with unified charging and service standards, and it is among the first in Beijing to advocate and practice the business model of 'domestic workers undergo training before taking up positions.' The training center, located in Chaoyang, offers pre-job training and refresher training, covering specialties such as maternal and infant care, elderly care, housekeeping, and childcare. Since its inception, Fuping Domestic Service has trained and employed a cumulative total of 68,000 domestic workers, 90% of whom come from remote areas, and has provided safe, professional, and reliable domestic services to over 60,000 households in Beijing. Fuping Domestic Service's efforts in professionalization have been recognized by government departments and social institutions. As an executive director unit of the Beijing Domestic Service Association, it has successfully become one of the 'Top 100 Units in the National Home Service Industry.' The domestic workers trained by Fuping come from provinces such as Gansu, Hebei, and Henan, recruited uniformly by labor export departments in other provinces, where they undergo physical examinations and identity verification locally. Before taking up their posts, domestic workers receive two weeks of closed-door pre-job training at the training base, learning courses such as cooking, cleaning, infant care, elderly care, etiquette, and first aid, and must pass assessments. In addition, city park activities are organized to help them continuously enrich themselves, improve service quality, and achieve self-development and better integration into urban life.
