Sinopharm Group Shanghai Jienuo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Jienuo") is affiliated with China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sinopharm Group") and China National Biotec Group Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "China Biotech"). It is a diagnostic reagent trading enterprise under China Biotech, specializing in agency sales of domestic and international medical devices and in vitro diagnostic reagents. The products it represents cover fields such as molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and immunology, with partners including multinational companies from North America, Europe, Japan, and other countries, as well as domestic manufacturers renowned in their fields.

The "13th Five-Year Plan" strategic planning of China Biotech prioritizes the development of six core segments: vaccines, blood products, animal vaccines, diagnostic reagents, medical aesthetics, and antibodies. Shanghai Jienuo's in vitro diagnostic reagents are one of the key segments in the "13th Five-Year Plan" and also the first enterprise leading the mixed-ownership reform of China Biotech, aiming to promote the rapid development of the diagnostic business through institutional and mechanism innovation. As the unified operation platform for the medical diagnostics segment in the biomedical and health industry planned by China Biotech, Shanghai Jienuo integrates trade, industry, and science, focusing on building sales networks and channels, driving industrial development through sales, and constructing a comprehensive industrial chain for the diagnostics segment through technology introduction and investment mergers and acquisitions. In 2017, Shanghai Jienuo successfully secured technology transfer licensing cooperation projects for the cervical cancer risk assessment methylation detection kit from the German company Oncgnostics GmbH and the 2SMART single-tube multiplex nucleic acid detection kit from the Dutch company PathoFinder. While acting as an agent for imported kits, it is also intensively preparing to build its own production facility to transform and localize these detection technologies, producing high-quality localized products to better serve public health.

The main agency products of Shanghai Jienuo include the Gyntect? cervical cancer risk assessment methylation detection kit, the PathoFinder 2SMART single-tube multiplex nucleic acid detection kit, the VerePLEX Biosystem multiplex microbial pathogen nucleic acid detection system, and MBL autoimmune diagnostic products. These products focus on multiplex detection of infectious disease pathogens and molecular diagnostics of tumors, serving major clinical hospitals, centers for disease control and prevention, inspection and quarantine bureaus, and government laboratories such as the Food and Drug Administration.
