Chongqing Laser Rapid Prototyping and Mold Manufacturing Productivity Promotion Center was approved by the High-Tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (Guo Ke Gao Zi [1999] No. 013), and was jointly funded and established in November 1999 by Chongqing Optical Machinery Research Institute, Chongqing Asset Holdings Co., Ltd., Chongqing Electromechanical Design Institute, Chongqing University, and Chongqing Institute of Technology. It is a *** manufacturing new product development service center in Southwest China. The center has gathered dozens of professors, experts, and engineering technicians from universities and research institutes, introduced the world's * advanced RP molding machines, ATOS 3D optical scanners, precision injection molding machines, DMG CNC machining centers, and today's * advanced modeling software such as UG and Ideas, as well as various data processing and analysis software. It has established 3D CAD design, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, rapid tooling manufacturing, and fixture and gauge design and manufacturing systems, and can provide enterprises with rapid prototyping manufacturing technical services that shorten product design and development cycles and improve product design levels.
