天津市天拖医院始建于上世纪60年代，前身为天津拖拉机制造厂职工医院，主要为厂内职工提供医疗服务。随着企业改制，医院功能一度受限。2023年，天津市国资委整合资源成立康养集团，对天拖医院进行升级改造，投入资金提升硬件设施，并调配集团内6家医院的医护力量，同时与天津医科大学第二医院合作，每周安排专家坐诊。2024年起，医院设立40张“医养结合”病床，重点服务失能、重病老人，成为天津市推进医养康养结合的示范项目之一。目前，医院正探索将成功经验推广至其他职工医院，助力完善城市养老服务体系。
