Jiangxi Nuclear Industry Environmental Protection Center Co., Ltd.

Established in 1986, Jiangxi Nuclear Industry Environmental Protection Center is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Experimental Testing Brigade of the Jiangxi Provincial Geological Bureau (a full division-level public institution). It is a scientific research and consulting service organization integrating construction project environmental impact assessment, completion environmental protection acceptance, analysis and testing, environmental monitoring, solid waste attribute identification, environmental engineering design and general contracting, soil and water conservation plan preparation, geological disaster treatment, radiological health testing and evaluation, environmental damage judicial appraisal, indoor environmental quality testing, and radioactive product quality inspection. It is a high-tech enterprise and a provincial science and technology SME. It holds qualifications and certificates including construction project environmental impact assessment qualification, radiological health technical service institution qualification (Grade A), four-star level evaluation certificate for soil and water conservation plans for production and construction projects, and Jiangxi Province environmental pollution treatment engineering design capability and general contracting. It has been authorized to establish the "Jiangxi Province Radioactive Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Station," "Jiangxi Province Precious Metal Jewelry and Jade Quality Supervision and Inspection Station," and the "Environmental Damage Judicial Appraisal Center of the Testing Research Center of Jiangxi Provincial Nuclear Industry Geological Bureau," and is actively preparing to establish the Jiangxi Province Nuclear Emergency Rescue Technology Center. It is a key laboratory for the national detailed investigation of soil pollution status, a radioactivity accredited laboratory of the Jiangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, a testing laboratory for soil pollution status investigation of key industry enterprises in Jiangxi Province, a key laboratory for ecological environment damage investigation and restoration treatment technology in Nanchang City, and a leading service enterprise in Nanchang City. It is a AAA-level contract-honoring and credit-worthy unit, AAA-level enterprise credit unit, and AAA-level integrity unit in China's environmental protection industry.
Currently, there are 143 employees (including 68 on the official payroll), 1 professor-level senior engineer, 13 senior engineers, 33 engineers, and more than 50 registered engineers of various types including national registered environmental impact assessment engineers. The main equipment includes inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometers (ICP-MS), gas chromatography-mass spectrometers, liquid chromatographs, high-purity germanium gamma spectrometers, multi-channel low-background alpha and beta measuring instruments, X-ray fluorescence spectrometers, atomic absorption spectrometers (AAS), magnetic field strength meters, radon detectors, radon exhalation rate meters, liquid scintillation counters, neutron meters, MagicMax Universal X-ray output evaluation systems, sulfur-carbon analyzers, flue gas analyzers, comprehensive air samplers, and more than 300 other instruments (sets), with a total value of nearly 40 million yuan. Testing items cover 67 major categories including rocks, soil, solid waste, ores, water quality, ambient air and waste gas, noise, electromagnetic ionizing radiation and radioactive nuclides, radiological health, and precious metal jewelry and jade testing. It has passed certifications for quality management system (GB/T 19001-2016/ISO 9001:2015), environmental management system (GB/T 24001-2016/ISO 14001:2015), and occupational health management system (GB/T 45001-2020/ISO 45001:2018).
Up to now, clients served are located across Jiangxi Province, Guangdong Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Henan Province, Shandong Province, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province, Fujian Province, Hunan Province, Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and other provinces, and direct offices have been established in 8 of these provinces and cities.
