Jiangxi Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute was founded in 1952, and is the earliest industrial and civil architectural design institute established in Jiangxi Province. It is a comprehensive Class A enterprise integrating engineering design, engineering investigation, engineering consulting, engineering supervision, construction drawing review, general engineering contracting, and real estate development.
The Jiangxi Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute currently employs 540 staff, including 480 professional and technical personnel. Among them, there are 3 experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council, 2 experts enjoying special allowances from the provincial government, 15 professor-level senior engineers, 146 senior architects and senior engineers, 188 architects and engineers, 31 first-class registered architects, 50 first-class registered structural engineers, 36 registered electrical and equipment engineers, 27 registered supervision engineers, 7 registered cost engineers, 10 registered consulting engineers, and 19 first-class construction engineers.

The Jiangxi Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute has always focused on extensive exchanges with domestic and international design communities. Its design and research projects span across dozens of provinces and cities in China. Especially since the reform and opening up, it has undertaken various large, medium, high-rise, and super high-rise industrial and civil architectural design projects both domestically and internationally in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Beijing, Chongqing, Lhasa, and other places. It has also undertaken engineering design projects in more than 10 countries and regions including Hong Kong (China), Kuwait, Iraq, Zambia, etc., and has cooperated on many projects with the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France.
