The Shanghai Institute of Mathematics Interdisciplinary Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "SIMIS") is a new research institute supported by Shanghai Municipality, Yangpu District, Fudan University, located in Yangpu District, Shanghai. Based in Shanghai radiating the Yangtze River Delta, SIMIS strives to build an internationally leading basic science inter-disciplinary research platform. Key areas of study include basic mathematics, applied mathematics, inter-disciplinary applications in artificial intelligence biomedicine.
