The 45th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, established in 1958 and affiliated with China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), is a central research institution in Beijing specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of key process technologies for electronic components, complete equipment systems, and equipment application processes. In 2013, CETC's 2nd, 45th, and 48th Research Institutes were integrated to form CETC Electronic Equipment Group Co., Ltd. The 45th Institute has strong advantages in CMP equipment, wet chemical processing equipment, lithography equipment, electronic pattern printing equipment, material processing equipment, and advanced packaging equipment. It provides specialized equipment and technical support for fields such as electronic components, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), micro-nano manufacturing, and electronic material processing. It is the chairman unit of the China Electronic Equipment Technology Association. As a key state-owned enterprise and a national strategic asset, CETC ranks among the Fortune Global 500. In 2015, CETC Electronic Equipment Group Co., Ltd. achieved sales revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan, joining the CETC '10 Billion Club'.
