我院是政府举办的集医疗、预防、保健、教学于一体的综合性“二级甲等”中医医院，湖南中医药大学附一医院双向转诊、业务协作指导医院，为首批“湖南省农村示范中医医院”，是资兴市城镇职工及居民医保、工伤、新农合定点医院，郴州市城镇职工及居民医保、工伤定点医院。我医院现有高级职称13人。中级职称60人，郴州首批十位名中医1人，硕士研究生2人，配有美国GE螺旋CT、日本富士数字X光机、意大利彩超、日立全自动生化分析仪、五分类血球计数仪、电视输尿管肾镜、电子胃肠镜、电子阴道及宫腔镜等先进检测和治疗设备。
