上海环境工程设计研究院创建于1984年10月，前身是上海工程成套总公司环保节能设计研究所（简称“上海工程成套研究所”），1994年9月正式更名为上海环境工程设计研究院，2001年11月由上海华源环保集团有限公司与上海工程成套建设公司共同出资组建为上海环境工程设计研究院有限公司，现隶属于新苏环保产业集团有限公司。具有环境工程设计资格证书。目前全院拥有人员近百人，其中工程技术人员占80%，云集了一批学有专长的留学生、博士及专家学者等高级技术骨干，并建立了完善的工程设计体系及环境工程研究体系。多年来，我院已完成各类环保、节能、技术改造、市政等工程3000多项，掌握了多项国内外的环保高新技术，在环境工程咨询、设计、施工、运营领域中积累了丰富的经验。
