China South-to-North Water Diversion Group Middle Route Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Middle Route Company) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China South-to-North Water Diversion Group, mainly responsible for the construction and operation management of the Middle Route mainline project, fulfilling the responsibilities of a project legal entity, and independently engaging in production and operation activities in accordance with the law. Under the unified leadership of China South-to-North Water Diversion Group, the Middle Route Company, based on national economic development and market needs, independently engages in production and operation activities in accordance with the law, ensuring the safety of the Middle Route project, water supply safety, and water quality safety, improving the social, ecological, and economic benefits of the project, expanding operations, achieving preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets, serving economic development and social livelihood, protecting the ecological environment, fulfilling its due social responsibilities, and fully leveraging the strategic, fundamental, and public welfare role of the Middle Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The headquarters of the Middle Route Company is located in Beijing, with direct external agencies including the Safety Monitoring Center (located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province) and the Financial Service Center (located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province). The Middle Route Company has established 5 branches: Qushou Branch, Henan Branch, Hebei Branch, Tianjin Branch, and Beijing Branch, as well as 4 subsidiaries: South-to-North Water Diversion Engineering Service Co., Ltd., South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Industrial Development Co., Ltd., South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Information Technology Co., Ltd., and South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Regulation and Storage Development (Hebei) Co., Ltd.
The Postdoctoral Research Station of the Middle Route Company (hereinafter referred to as the Station) was established in 2022 with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee. The Station fully leverages the industry advantages of the Middle Route Company and has established cooperative relationships with universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Wuhan University, and Hohai University to jointly cultivate high-end innovative talents in the water conservancy industry.
