BIAD

Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd. (referred to as "BIAD"), established in 1949, is a large state-owned architectural design and consulting institution that shares the same age as the People's Republic of China. It is a wholly state-owned company funded by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and established in accordance with the Company Law, and is a first-level enterprise supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
BIAD's business scope includes: urban planning, investment planning, large-scale public building design, civil building design, interior decoration design, landscape design, building intelligent system engineering design, engineering budget preparation, low-current engineering, decoration engineering, general engineering contracting, and other fields. Currently, the company holds multiple engineering design qualifications.
BIAD is a national high-tech enterprise, with a national housing industrialization base, Beijing Design Innovation Center, Beijing Engineering Technology Research Center for Building High Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Utilization, Beijing Engineering Technology Research Center for Information-based Building Design and Construction, and a National Engineering Practice Education Center jointly established with Tsinghua University approved by the Ministry of Education.
