Anhui Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1952, initially as a public institution under the Provincial Construction Department. In 2005, in accordance with the reform arrangement for the separation of provincial party and government organs from enterprises, the institute was wholly transferred to the management of Anhui Guokong Group. In December 2021, the company was listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with stock code 301167. After over 70 years of development, the enterprise has grown into a comprehensive architectural design institute with architectural design, consulting, and R&D as its core business, accelerating the development of diversified extension businesses. It holds qualifications in architectural design, urban-rural planning, landscape architecture, decoration design, municipal public design, construction drawing review, engineering testing, engineering supervision, and cost consulting, and actively carries out services such as general project contracting and whole-process engineering consulting. It is a civil architectural design enterprise in Anhui Province with a concentration of high-end talents, a complete range of professional specialties, a leading industry position, and the strongest comprehensive strength, as well as a national high-tech enterprise. The company currently has six wholly-owned subsidiaries, including Construction Drawing Review, Shengyuan Graphics, Jianyuan Testing, Jianyuan Energy, Shanghai Yanbo Technology, and Bengbu High-tech Architectural Design, and one equity participation company, Shengyuan Cost, employing more than 900 people in total. The company has a National Prefabricated Building Industry Demonstration Base, a provincial-level enterprise technology center, and a provincial-level postdoctoral research station. To date, it has won over 600 national and provincial excellent design awards, 12 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, undertaken more than 30 provincial and ministerial research projects, led or participated in the compilation of over 70 national, industrial, provincial local standards, and drawing collections, and obtained 57 patents and software copyrights. The company has established industry-university-research cooperation with universities such as Hefei University of Technology and Anhui Jianzhu University, continuously introducing advanced technologies and talents from the industry. It currently has 206 professional registration qualifications and 274 personnel with senior professional technical titles. Among them, there are 9 experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council and the provincial government, 5 academic and technical leaders of Anhui Province, 15 engineering survey and design masters of Anhui Province, and 12 young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in the construction system of Anhui Province. With years of unremitting efforts and outstanding performance, the company has been successively elected as an executive director unit of the Architectural Society of China, an executive director unit of the Architectural Design Branch of the China Exploration and Design Association, a chairman unit of the Anhui Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, and a vice chairman unit of the Anhui Engineering Survey and Design Association. It has also been awarded honors such as "National Excellent Survey and Design Enterprise," "One of the Top 100 Famous Design Institutes in Contemporary Chinese Architectural Design," "Integrity Unit in the National Architectural Design Industry," "China Integrity Survey and Design Unit," "Outstanding Contribution Unit Promoting the Development of the Survey and Design Industry," "National Prefabricated Building Industrialization Base," and "Advanced Unit and Civilized Unit of the Anhui Provincial Construction System."
