The predecessor of Fuzhou Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. was established in March 1956. It is one of the first batch of Class A survey and design institutes in China, a pilot enterprise for general contracting of engineering in Fujian Province, and a pilot unit for whole-process engineering consulting in Fujian Province. The enterprise is a municipal state-owned enterprise. It has Class A qualifications for architectural engineering design in the national building industry, geotechnical engineering in engineering survey specialty, and supervision of housing construction engineering; Class A construction drawing review qualification for housing construction; testing qualification for building foundation and foundation engineering; Class B qualifications for landscape engineering special design, building industry (civil air defense engineering), engineering surveying, and supervision of municipal public engineering; Class C qualifications for municipal industry (water supply engineering, drainage engineering) and civil air defense engineering supervision; and Level 3 qualification for professional contracting of foundation engineering.
