AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "AECC CAE", hereinafter referred to as "CAE Company") was established on January 18, 2009. It is a diversified shareholding enterprise jointly funded by AVIC (note: on January 27, 2016, with the approval of the State Council, the shares held by AVIC were transferred to the newly established Aero Engine Corporation of China), Shanghai Tobacco Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, and Shanghai Guosheng (Group) Co., Ltd. Located at 3998 South Lianhua Road, Shanghai, with a registered capital of 6 billion RMB, the company is primarily engaged in the design, development, production, assembly, testing, sales, maintenance, services, technology development, and technical consulting of commercial aircraft power plants and related products. CAE Company has established an R&D center, an assembly and test center, an overhaul center, and a customer service center. On November 21, 2011, AECC Shanghai Commercial Aircraft Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was registered and established in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd., undertaking the manufacturing, testing, inspection, assembly, and test runs of commercial aircraft engine products, delivering products that meet design requirements and customer needs.
