Hitachi Astemo Brake Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., formerly known as Chassis Brakes International (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., was officially registered in 2012 and commenced production in April 2013. The company's main products are front and rear calipers for automobiles. After several years of development, the company now has 300 employees, 4 ordinary caliper production lines, and 5 electronic brake caliper lines, with many well-known domestic and international customers.
Hitachi Astemo Brake Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was originally part of the Foundation Brakes division of the German Bosch Group. In 2013, it was taken over by the French Chassis Brakes International Group, and in 2019, it was taken over by Hitachi Automotive Systems (now Hitachi Astemo).
