Ocean Engineering (Zhuhai) Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

Ocean Petroleum Engineering (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd., located in Gaolan Port Economic Zone of Zhuhai City, is a deep-water marine engineering equipment manufacturing site jointly built by CNOOC, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., and the Zhuhai Municipal Government. On July 18, 2009, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. signed an investment and construction agreement with the Zhuhai Municipal Government; on December 28, 2009, the foundation stone of the Zhuhai deep-water marine engineering equipment manufacturing site was laid. This site is aligned with the national strategic deployment for oil and gas development in the South China Sea and is intended to become a key base for such development. The site is positioned to be an internationally advanced, modern facility for the construction and assembly of large floating structures for deep-water engineering, assembly and testing of subsea engineering facilities, extension of deep-water subsea pipelines and flexible pipes, maintenance of offshore facilities, and a base for deep-water installation fleets and CNOOC supply support, as well as an operation fleet and offshore construction command and dispatch center. Its main activities include the construction and assembly of semi-submersible drilling rigs, TLP platforms, SPAR platforms, large integrated topsides, and FLNG/FPSO topside modules; assembly and testing of subsea Christmas trees, manifolds, templates, and control modules; and extension of subsea pipelines and flexible pipes.
