长光卫星技术股份有限公司成立于2014年12月1日,是我国*家商业遥感卫星公司。公司由中国科学院长春光学精密机械与物理研究所、吉林省政府以及社会资本组建而成，总注册资本19.7亿元。2015年10月7日，由公司自主研发的“吉林一号”组星成功发射,开创了我国商业卫星应用的先河,同时也创造了由一个研发团队一箭成功发射四星的历史。目前，公司成功通过13次发射将31颗“吉林一号”卫星送入太空，建成了我国目前*大的商业遥感卫星星座，具备了较强的服务能力。“吉林一号”星座可对全球任意地点实现每天10~12次重访，具备全球一张图一年更新1次、全国一张图一年更新3次的能力，可为农林生产、环境监测、智慧城市、地理测绘、土地规划等各领域提供高质量的遥感信息和产品服务。
