Nanchang Vocational University of Science and Technology

Nanchang Vocational University of Science and Technology is a private non-profit undergraduate-level vocational university founded by Taihao Group. The university originated from Jiangxi Taihao Technology Specialized College established in 2004, was transformed into Jiangxi Taihao Animation Vocational College in 2008, and was officially upgraded to an undergraduate-level vocational university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2026.
The university is located in *Nanchang Xiaolan Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to the provincial administrative center, with a land area of nearly 1,500 mu, nearly 800 full-time teachers, and more than 12,000 full-time students. It has multiple provincial-level teaching and research innovation teams, curriculum ideological and political demonstration teams, skill master studios, and famous teacher studios.
Closely following the development needs of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, the university offers undergraduate majors such as Virtual Reality Technology, Cloud Computing Technology, Digital Animation, and Digital Media Art, as well as higher vocational majors in fields including Modern Electronic Information, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Digital Media. It has 2 provincial-level double-high specialty groups and 1 characteristic specialty. In the past three years, teachers and students have won more than 1,400 provincial-level and above competition awards, and the destination implementation rate of graduates has consistently ranked among the top in the province.
The scientific research platform strength is outstanding. It has the provincial key laboratory of Jiangxi vocational colleges and private universities - the Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of High Performance Computing, as well as 4 municipal key laboratories and multiple provincial-level scientific research bases. Teachers' scientific research achievements have won * awards such as the First Prize of the Technology Invention Award of the Ministry of Education, the National TV Literature and Art Starlight Award, and the "Five One Project" Award.
Relying on the advantages of enterprise-run education, the university deepens industry-education integration and has in-depth cooperation with multiple well-known leading enterprises at home and abroad and multiple first-class universities. It is the first vocational college in Jiangxi to recruit international students, and has won multiple honors such as the National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base and * Maker Space, and has been rated excellent in provincial university evaluations for many consecutive years.
