Chongqing NARI Borui Transformer Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Electrical Engineering & Equipment Group under China Electrical Equipment. It was first established in May 1983 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan and covers an area of nearly 200 mu. It inherits the advantageous resources of the former national designated transformer manufacturer — Sichuan Fuling Transformer Factory, and has accumulated more than 40 years of transformer design and manufacturing history. It has the design and manufacturing capability of power transformers and special transformers of 330kV and below, with an annual production capacity of 50 million kVA. Guided by the development direction of "dual carbon" and new-type power system construction, the Company continues to grow, improve, and strengthen itself, striving to build an internationally first-class transformer manufacturing and operation & maintenance service enterprise.
The Company is a national high-tech enterprise and has a Chongqing municipal-level enterprise technology center. It is one of the domestic manufacturers that fully masters mature technology for the full series of power transformers of 220kV and below. Its "35–220kV" products are "Chongqing High-Tech" products and "Chongqing Famous Brand" products. Its 10kV, 35kV, and 110kV power transformers have obtained Grade 1 energy efficiency certification, and its 110kV products have obtained energy-saving product certification from the China Quality Certification Center. New products such as "35–66kV" station service transformers, 35kV vegetable oil transformers, 110kV split transformers, 150kV fully insulated transformers, and wind power and photovoltaic new energy transformers have achieved engineering applications. It has 20 years of design and manufacturing experience in 35kV and below dry-type transformers, dry-type arc suppression coils, reactors and other special transformers, and amorphous alloy transformers.
The Company has engineering general contracting and installation, repair, and testing operation & maintenance service capabilities, and possesses complete ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001 and integration of informatization and industrialization systems. It is a Chongqing "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative Enterprise" and a green factory. It has repeatedly won honorary titles such as "Chongqing Key New Product," "Technology Innovation Institution," and "Technology Innovation Enterprise."
The Company actively participates in power grid construction. Its products cover 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, achieving full coverage in the operating areas of State Grid Corporation of China, and are exported to the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Greece, Mexico, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Paraguay, Kenya and other countries. It has established a strategic cooperative relationship with the world-renowned company ABB. It has completed emergency, difficult and dangerous projects such as Jiangsu main transformer leasing and Liaoning Shenyang emergency leasing with high quality, and its performance services for wind power, photovoltaic and other new energy projects have been highly praised and recognized by customers.
