Hubei Yuanda Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (YDCEC) was established in April 2014. It is a state-owned enterprise wholly controlled by Hubei Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute, and is a technical service-oriented engineering company specializing in whole-process engineering consulting, engineering design, and engineering general contracting for construction projects in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical industries, ecological construction, and environmental engineering fields.

Hubei Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute is affiliated with Wuhan Institute of Technology and was established in 1978. It has comprehensive capabilities in scientific research and development, design consulting, production and sales, analysis and testing, and information services. On June 19, 2014, Hubei Yuanda Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. absorbed and merged with Hubei Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute, and inherited the design qualifications of Hubei Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute.

YDCEC has a high-quality talent team with complete specialties, rich experience, and a pioneering spirit. It currently has more than 100 engineering and technical personnel, of whom 25% hold senior professional titles and 45% hold intermediate professional titles, and more than 40 registered engineers of various types. It has specialties including general layout and transportation, architecture, structure, water supply and drainage, electrical, HVAC, process, equipment, piping, automatic control, thermal engineering, environmental protection, and engineering cost.

YDCEC holds a Grade A credit certificate for petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, ecological construction, and environmental engineering consulting units (Certificate No.: 124200004200005336-18ZYJ18), a Grade A qualification for specialized engineering design in the chemical and petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries (chemical engineering) (Certificate No.: A142002889), a Grade B qualification in the chemical and petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries (Certificate No.: A242002886), a Grade B qualification for architectural industry engineering design (architectural engineering) (Certificate No.: A242002886), as well as design qualifications for A2 class third-category medium- and low-pressure vessels and GC1(1)(2)(3) class pressure piping, and has passed the GB/T19001/ISO9001 quality management system certification.

YDCEC is based in Hubei and oriented toward the whole country. It implements the business policy of "integrity and cooperation, quality first, service supreme."
